OTL Internship in a Nutshell

Internship Overview:

Over the last three weeks Will Pascoe and I (Connor De St. Croix) have been interning here at Outside the Lens under mentors Niki Even and Colleen O'Hallaran. In our time here we have worked on many small projects and a few larger ones including: OTL's Stock Photography blog, a Migrant Ed video, and generally on the Water In Focus Project. We have also had the opportunity to learn from a professional photographer (Drew Wyeth http://www.twentyphoto7.com/) about studio lighting photography. And lastly we also assisted in classes that gave youth at risk who were being reintegrated back into society a place to express themselves through different forms of media and the arts.

This shot is posted here in closing from our POL. Our POL was a final "Presentation of Learning" to explain to an audience of our mentors what we had learned and gained from our internship experience at Outside the Lens.
