Land+Lenses: Sea & Story
Join a plein air painting session where you’ll paint the ocean and waves, contributing to a collective artwork that visually connects each participant’s piece. You’ll also record the sound of ocean waves, capturing movement and rhythm in both visual and auditory forms. This workshop invites you to reflect on the power of water, interconnectedness, and creative collaboration.
Come to a free Land and Lenses art workshop in the park led by Media Arts Educators from Outside The Lens. Snacks and materials are provided. All ages welcome.

Get to know Otay Regional Valley Park and YMCA’s Camp Surf beach and learn about the significance of the land through different art+photo mediums exploring themes of environmental justice, identity & belonging, and resilience. Explore ways we can amplify community voices and connect with each other through art advocacy!

- Guest speakers to facilitate special workshops
- Your work will be featured in a culminating exhibition at The Front Arte y Cultura
- Snacks will be provided and workshops are open to ALL ages
