Holiday Portraits at the Monarch School

With the holidays just around the corner, Outside the Lens wanted to celebrate the festivities by providing portraits to families in need from the Monarch School.  The Monarch School serves to educate students impacted by homelessness with the skills and experiences necessary for a better future.  This was a great opportunity to witness a community celebration with a dash of the holiday spirit.

The Monarch School invited us to provide family portraits and prints during their holiday extravaganza event last night.  It was an incredibly experience working with professional photographer Paul Nyerges and the many staff members and youth who made the event possible.  This event was ultimately a reflection of Help Portrait, which is a global movement of professional photographers who donate their time and skills for a good cause.

Throughout the night, we were able to bring hundreds of smiles and we are excited to be continuing our programming at the Monarch School for the following school year.
